Oracle Application Express (Apex)
This course provides students with product knowledge and skills needed to Develop Basic Database Driven Web Applications.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
Install and configure Oracle Application Express;
Develop a database-centric Web application;
Utilize and manage Shared Components in an application;
Build queries of database objects and incorporate them in an application;
Manage users and groups;
Manage Access Control by authorizing and authenticating users;

Intended for
This course is intended for Web Application Developers who have experience with Microsoft Access, Oracle Developer Suite and PL/SQL.
Background
Before attending this course, students must have a basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its core functionality, a working knowledge of relational databases and SQL (see SQL and relational databases fundamentals), and some experience with PL/SQL (see PL/SQL database programming). In addition, it is recommended, but not required, that students have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (see HTML5).
