PRINCE2® v2009 Foundation (with exam)

Intended for

This training is designed for the support staff who needs to be able to contribute effectively to projects, and who need to have an understanding of how using a best practice project management methodology can contribute significantly to projects which place a clear focus on delivering business requirements.

Background

No specific previous training required.

Training method

Class teaching. There are both group and individual assignments.

The last afternoon, after the coffee break, participants will do the PRINCE2 Foundation examination.

Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • list the components and main processes of PRINCE2® (*)
  • list the critical factors for success in a project
  • use the process-oriented approach of the PRINCE2 methodology
  • understand the differences between a project and a process
  • maximise your potential by contributing to projects in an effective way
  • improve the success rate of projects completing on time and meeting defined quality deliverables

During the course, participants will also be specifically prepared to do the PRINCE2 Foundation examination. The aim is that they pass this examination and get the official certification.
