Practical informationRegistration ABIS is well-known for its DB2 related expertise. From the early start, ABIS has featured an ever increasing number of DB2 courses - geared towards system programmers, application developers, and (end)users. The last few years, we expanded our knowledge of relational systems - first DB2 common server (now DB2 UDB), then Oracle, and finally SQLServer courses where added to our program. Our expertise in relational databases is at your disposal - through training, coaching and consulting, we are able to help you meet your requirements.
Today, everybody is faced with a very simple economic reality - the need to use all available resources in its most efficient way. This often includes a need to have database administrators manage different relational databases, across multiple platforms and vendors.
Hence our 'delta' courses - courses discussing the differences between alternate relational database systems in a compact and efficient way. Because an expert DBA on a first relational platform only needs a limited explanation in order to be able to understand - and interpret the consequences of - related features in a second relational platform. Obviously, we also offer 'transition', 'upgrade' courses, focusing on the new features of a specific relational database!
The following table offers an overview of all most relevant 'delta' courses ABIS has to offer. Although available as standard, public courses, they are most frequently organised in-company, often tailored to specific needs.
