Basic business process modelling

Intended for

This practical training is meant for people who need basic modelling skills to use in their day-to-day job. Ex: business & ict analysts, process owners, business & ict architects, and process managers.

Background

We recommend some basic knowledge of the Unified Modeling Language (UML), see OO analysis and design with UML.

Training method

The course approach is typically a combination of project experiences and best practices, based on solid theoretical background knowledge. The courses combines an interesting set of techniques with a number of exercises in order to illustrate the added value of the subject.

Objectives

This is a pragmatic and hands-on course that introduces widespread techniques (based on UML) to model and analyze business process behavior and information. The training provides vital, but nevertheless specialized, skills for business people or IT analysts engaging in business process analysis or requirements gathering for software automation purposes.
