Practical informationRegistration Beyond the traditional XML courses available on our regular, open schedule - XML concepts, XML fundamentals - ABIS also offers training in a number of very specific and expert XML related topics. These topics typically focus on a number of diverse areas crucially influenced by XML. Consequently, we are able to point out the added value of XML. And ours!

The above figure clearly points out the core of our XML offering. Courses 'XML concepts' and' XML fundamentals' discuss a number of basic yet crucial characteristics of XML: context, methodology, advantages and disadvantegs. Furthermore, we discuss different concepts one should be familiar with when using XML: how to validate, parse, search, and transform.
We then build on these core concepts. Four areas in which XML plays an important role are treated: XML and it relationship with data, XML and analysis, the use of XML in applications, and finally XML as it relates to reporting. For each of these areas, we indicate a number of core related technologies we are interested in. Our interest in XML and DB2 seems obvious. So is our interest in the relationship between XML and Java at one hand, and XML and SOA/WebServives on the other hand. We explore each of these relationships in detail.
Finally, we also list a number of standard courses we offer in each of these focus areas.
All subjects introduced above - and consequently all courses listed - can be modified to include subjects you, our customer, are interested in! That is, tailored to your specific needs.
