PRINCE2® v2005-v2009 bridging course

Intended for

  • Individuals who want to follow the latest developments about PRINCE2
  • People who will need to pass a re-certification exam
  • People who will be leading projects where team members are trained in 2009 edition

Background

The PRINCE2 Foundation certificate is required to follow this course (cf. course PRINCE2® v2009 Foundation (with exam)).

Training method

Class teaching. The sequence of the session follows the chapter of the manual. There will be no exercises, but there will be room for discussion.

Participants will receive a mock Foundation 2009 edition exam, so they can really see the added value of this course.

Objectives

This course offers participants an in-depth insight into the differences between the 2005 edition and the 2009 edition of the PRINCE2 manual.

After explaining the main structural changes, detailed changes will be explained, chapter by chapter, including the appendices. There will be no exercises, nor will there be an examination.

Main aims of this course are:

  • Knowing the differences between the 2005 edition and the 2009 edition
  • Being able to understand the 2009 edition
  • Being able, after some self-study, to pass a re-certification Practitioner examination
